Abode7: Designer Summary
This family wanted a Charleston home that felt like a true escape, a place where loved ones could gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. We designed this space with the intention of strengthening connection and honoring the charm of the historic location. The aesthetic is classic and refined, with thoughtful details that support both elegant hosting and casual togetherness.
Every design decision was made with entertaining in mind, from optimizing flow for movement and conversation to ensuring storage, appliances, and surfaces are intuitive and practical in real use. The palette and materials were chosen to feel timeless and welcoming, reflecting both the beauty of the city and the family's deep affection for it.
The result is a warm, inviting, and beautiful Charleston retreat that sets the stage for unforgettable moments and cherished gatherings in the city they love.
